trailrunning |
| |
| Hong Kong has a wealth of countryside within easy reach of the city. It also has a variety of hiking trails ranging from flat mud and concrete paths to unbelievably steep, overgrown, rugged paths climbing seemingly never-ending hills. As a result of this a large trailrunning community has grown up in Hong Kong and many races are very competitive and always alot of fun. Below are some of the most popular events. Please contact us for more information. |

| LANTAU 2 PEAKS RACE: 06.10.2013 |
| If you like hills you will enjoy this race. Sunset Peak and Lantau Peak are both summited and both feature long sustained climbs and amazing views and scenery. One of the first real tests in trailrunning race season, a good way to see if your summer training has gone well. |

| RALEIGH CHALLENGE WILSON TRAIL: 25.10.2013 |
| Now in its 14th year, this race follows the Wilson Trail, which is beautiful and rugged. There is a 30km Explorer day course, a 48km Adventurer night course, a 78km Challenger course (the whole trail) and a whopping 156km Prohiker course, with the last two counting for UTMB qualifying. |

| MOONTREKKER: 2013 |
| This sounds really fun. A race following the amazing trails on Lantau Island. A 40km day course and also a really fun 26km night course. The night course climbs Lantau Peak towards the end. If you get to the top when the sun is rising then expect an unforgettable view. |

| MSIG HK50: 2013 |
| 23km and 50km routes available. For the long route the first 25km follows the Hong Kong Trail, expect lots of shaded mud contour trails. The second half follows Sir Cecil's Ride which once again features large sections of soft, mud contour trails. Not too many rugged hills in this one, but a nice course. |

| TRAILWLKER: 2013 |
| The most famous trail race in Hong Kong. The route covers the 100km MacLehose Trail from Sai Kung in the east to Yuen Long in the west. Elite teams take about 12 hours to complete the route but up to 48 hours are allowed. The trail is rugged and technical in places, with many ups and downs. |
| PATAGONIA NATURE RUN: 2013 |
| 14km and 22km routes available. This race takes place in the remote North West New Territories. The 22km route features amazing shaded, soft mud trails. Technical, fun ups and downs and amazing scenery. I love thi course. For me it is one of the most beautiful, and runnable courses in Hong Kong. |
| HK TOP 10 RACE 1: 2013 |
| An interesting race series which aims to climb ten of the highest peaks in Hong Kong. The routes in this series are geenrally quite technical, overgrown and interesting. | All the serious trailrunners in Hong Kong adore this series. 4 races in different areas of the territory and beautiful courses. This race features an amazing course. | 50km and 100km routes available. The 50km route is an excellent test of trailrunning ability and endurance. Featuring a rugged, hilly first half and a slightly less technical second half with some lovely contour trails. The 100km is all that plus more. Brutal! Be fit if you wanna run it!! |
