| HIKE DETAILS: Met Jean Yves and Steffen on a lovely day for a hike on Hong Kong island. We started at Wong Nai Chung gap and then followed some lovely trails before climbing Violet Hill and ending at Repulse Bay beach for some refreshing beer. |

| HIKE DETAILS: A jolly group, several of whom were on their first hike in Hong Kong. We started at Wong nai Tau and passed through Mui Tsz Lam before following a lovely old, overgrown village trail to the base of Buffalo Hill before heading gently home. |

| HIKE DETAILS: Carsten, Marcel and I started this hike with the ultra steep climb from Tung Tsz to Wong Leng. Then came an overgrown path to the Wilson Trail before climbing back up to Wong Leng. Now up to Cloudy Hill by the rough route we only do once a year! |

| HIKE DETAILS: Ahh, it's great to be in the hills! First came the lovely walk from Chai Kek past Ng Tung Chai lower, middle and upper falls and then onwards to MacLehose Trail 4 before following a slippery, precarious route down to San Uk Ka village. |

| HIKE DETAILS: I love these misty, atmospheric hikes. Climbing past Ng Tung Chai sometimes only able to see a couple of metres then walking down to Lead Mine Pass and taking some of my favourite contour trails in the Shing Mun area. Yes! |

| HIKE DETAILS: We chose an amazing day for a difficult hike in Sai Kung. First a steep climb to Lui Ta Shak before an unbelievably steep descent. We then climbed Shek Uk Shan before a hidden path to the Mount Hallowes area with its lovely, rocky groves. |

| HIKE DETAILS: Judi, Liz and Margie joined me for a nice beginning at Sha Tin past a church and up to the MacLehose Trail where things got misty and we took a really steep, very overgrown path down to San Uk Ka village - a satisfying end! |

| HIKE DETAILS: A fun hike with JY and Judi - we started from Wong Nai Tau and took some interesting, unusual paths up to Turret Hill. Now we followed some old village paths around Mui Tsz Lam which are hidden and overgrown - beautiful! |
