TIME REQUIRED about 3-5 hours
WHAT TO BRING Please look at the equipment list for some recommendations on what to bring. Please bring enough water and some snacks for the hike as there are no food purchasing opportunities underway.
DESCRIPTION We'll start at Shing Mun Reservoir and follow some of the shaded, calm contour trails around the area. These trails are generally quite flat and technically reasonably easy. We will eaither make the hike a Shing Mun Reservoir round trip or finish at Sha Tin or Fo Tan.
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY Most of the trails around Shing Mun Reservoir are flat and technically easy. There may be one or two climbs involved. If the weather is damp or wet then the trails generally become more muddy and slippery and technically more challenging. In general the hike will be a short, relaxing afternnon probably followed by food somewhere.
